I’m a full-time yoga teacher in Perth and I teach private yoga sessions, going above and beyond to help you get what you need.
Of the classes I teach, 50% off those are private 1-on-1 sessions in the Western Suburbs, from Mosman Park to Cottesloe, Dalkeith and at my studio in Nedlands.
Your yoga practice can be done in the comfort of your home, or even in your office. You might be a beginner, or crunched for time, coping through an injury or health condition, or wanting to take it to the next level. Maybe you’ve good things about yoga but not sure about going to a group class.
As your personal, private yoga teacher, I want to meet your schedule and your goals, to craft a session that serves you. I will find out exactly what you need most from the practice.
I take a multi-disciplinary approach for your needs – combining yoga, pilates, resistance training, light weights – and the use of props such as blocks, straps, foam rollers and spikey balls.
Let’s face it. There’s something in everyday that is completely different from yesterday. So some days we’ll work on something so restorative for the body and mind because of that bad sleep you had, or some days we’ll work on breathing techniques because your sinuses are blocked and it’s hayfever season, or you might feel up for the challenge and we’ll work on ‘that’ pose you’ve never been able to do or had time for in a group class. How does it sound? Completely tailored sessions from day-to-day.
“There is an Indian proverb or axiom that says that everyone is a house with four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time but, unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.”
I love this quote, because ultimately, balance is the goal. And teaching yoga to me isn’t just about the technique of the postures, but it’s about mindset, relationships, connection, and joy too.
So let’s talk private yoga. Contact me below to schedule in a phone call and I will answer any of your questions. I’d love to hear from you, really.
